Kevin currently represents the City Council district that is home to the largest population of unhoused people in all of Los Angeles. Homelessness is a crisis we need to address head on. It affects everyone in our city — housed and unhoused alike. The complex system of homelessness services in Los Angeles are misaligned, and we need new, bold, collaborative plans to put us on the right path and restore our civic pride. Kevin is ready to build those plans and put them into action for a stronger future.

Kevin isn’t waiting around to advance solutions on homelessness and housing affordability — he’s doing it right now: fighting to create 25,000 new housing units by 2025, cutting red tape to expedite construction and permitting, requiring affordable housing in new buildings, and identifying opportunities to leverage unused public and retail spaces.
