KEVIN DE LEÓN TO SPEAK AT MAY DAY MARCH

LOS ANGELES, CA – Tomorrow afternoon, Kevin de León will join the Los Angeles May Day Coalition to march in solidarity with hardworking people around the world on International Labor Day.  Kevin will join the march at 12:00pm in Pershing Square, and will speak at a rally in front of the Roybal Federal Building around 2:00pm. The march and rally, called "Together We Fight” will include more than fifty organizations calling for improvements to workers’ rights.  

Kevin de León has been a consistently strong voice who speaks up on behalf of California’s working families.  From his time in the State Assembly through his tenure as Senate President pro Tempore, he cracked down on wage theft, negotiated the $15 minimum wage law, and focused on creating new, good-paying jobs.

 

Los Angeles May Day March

WHEN: Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11:50am (De León set to speak at 2:10pm).

WHERE: Gathering for the march begins at 11am at the corner of 6th and S. Olive Street at Pershing Square in Downtown Los Angeles.  March begins at noon, program finalizes around 2:45pm at the Roybal Federal Building, 255 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA.
