FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, April 3, 2018
LOS ANGELES, CA – During the run-up to the primary election this June, U.S. Senate candidate Kevin de León is hitting the road to talk with as many Californians in as many communities, towns, and cities as possible throughout his home state.
Along the way he will hear from voters, business leaders, activists, workers, and community leaders about their vision for the future of California. Kevin will walk a day in the shoes of hardworking men and women, lead rallies and protests, meet with small-business owners, and join in community events.
“Because we’re running a lean campaign powered by everyday Californians, I only have one campaign office in the heart of Los Angeles. There’s no way I can meet all of the incredible people of California from there,” said Kevin de León. "So for the next two months the hometowns, local bars, union halls, and neighborhood sidewalks of our great state will be my new office and my door will be wide open. I’ll be traveling up and down the state of California to hear your questions, share your dreams and your struggles, and discuss solutions to the challenges facing our great state.”
The first leg of the journey begins on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 – starting with a student rally at Kevin’s alma mater, and ending with a meet & greet at the University of California in Riverside.
