LOS ANGELES, CA – With today’s endorsement from International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 13, Kevin de León continues to demonstrate his broad appeal to working people and organized labor throughout the state of California.
Following their endorsement, ILWU Local 13 President Mark Mendoza said:
“Here in California, Senator Kevin de León has been an unwavering advocate for the needs of California’s working people and families. He won the fight to increase the statewide minimum wage to $15, authored legislation to crack down on wage theft, and never misses an opportunity to protect existing jobs or create new jobs in California. Working families deserve a representative in Washington, D.C. who will always speak in their defense; that’s why ILWU Local 13 is proud to endorse Kevin de León for U.S. Senate.”
